Resumen

This papar deals with the study of the haematometric characteristics of the bats Artibeus jamaicensis Jamaicensis Leach, commonly called "murciélagos zapoteros" because they live and feed on the "zapote" tree Dyospiros ebenaster Retz., collected in the village of Tuxpilla, State of Veracruz, México, and with a brief note on the morphology of the leucocites of the granulocitic series.
