This paper on vampire bats Desmodus rotundus murinus Wagner, collected in October 1938 and February 1939 in the caves of "Tranca of Ixcapaneca" and of Cuetzala in the state of Guerrero, Mexico; comprises the study of the size of red blood cells, lynphocytes, monocytes, basofilous, eosinofilous and neutrofilous; the number of red blood cells by cubic millimeter; the leucocyte formula, the time for coagulation and the percentage of haemoglobin.
