Resumen

The author describes a new species of Paramonostomum which was found in the posterior intestine of Querquedula discors. This species is very similar to P. quequedulum Lal, 1936, and P. ovatus Hsá¼, 1935, for differs fundamentally from them in the position of the sexual pores which in the first are located at the middle of the oesophagus and in the second one behind the intestinal bifurcation. Other differences are the size of the body, of the oral sucker and of the eggs.
