LOS CUINIQUIS DE ARCELIA Citellus adocetus arceliae, Sub. Sp. Nov.

Resumen
In this paper, with the name of Citellus adocetus arceliae Sub. Sp. Nov. a geographic variety of Citellus adocetus Merriam, is described.
The ranges of the two nearly meet and are entirely within the warm lands of the State of Guerrero, México.
C. a. arceliae Sub. sp. nov. was collected 4 kms. S. of Arcelia , in the ranch "El Limón".
The sample in which this study is based is composed of thirteen specimens and their anatomical meassurements were submited to statistic elaboration.
Beside the parameters of the normal curve, the author gives the numerical results of the comparison between the sample studied and the Type specimen of C. adocetus Merriam; finally, correlation tables of the principal varietes are given.
The characteristics of C. a . arceliae sub. sp. nov., are:
a).- Total length, shorter than C. adocetus.
b).- Marks "V" shaped approximately in the tail.
c).- Frontal color of the incisors: Raw Sienna .
