EDUARDO CABALLERO Y C.

Resumen

The author describes two new species of Tremotoda which live as parasites in the small intestine of Balantiopteryx ochoterenai. These species are: Prosthodendrium paeminosum n. sp. ond Prosthodendrium (Paralecithodendrium) tetralobulatum n. sp .
P. paeminosum differs from P. scabrum (Caballero, 1940) and P. naviculum Macy, 1936 in the size and relation of the suckers, the location of the ovary and the shape of the vitellaria.
Prosthodendrium (Paralecithodendrium) tetralobulatum differs from P. nokomis Macy, 1937 in the location of the ovary ond the largar number of lobuli that form it, and from the other species of the genus and sub-genus because the ovary is postacetabular and post-testicular.
