Resumen
We describe a new species Atractis impura n. sp. found in the intestine of Gopherus polyphemus. This species differs from A. fasciolata Gendre, 1909 in the smaller size, arrangement of the ten pairs of papillae, the lack of chitinous ventral band and size of the spicules.
The species A. granulosa (Railliet and Henry, 1912) and A. morinae Baer, 1936 are considered synonyms of A. fasciolata. A. cruciata v. Linstow stands as a valid species.
