DESCRIPTIONS OF NEW BATS (CHIRODERMA AND ARTIBEUS) FROM MEXICO

Resumen

Bats of the genus Chiroderma are rare in Mexico. Chirorderma villosum Peters (=Chiroderma isthmicum Miller), the only species previously reported in Mexico, is known from the southern states of Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz, thence southward through Central America into South America.
