Contenido principal del artículo
Resumen
The new species of the genus Cercorchis that is described in this work is the third found in Amphibians as the majority of them parasitize reptiles and especially turtles.
Having examined almost all of the literature that has been written about this genus we find that the epecies Cercorchis patonianus differs from other species in the length of the body and in the dimensions of the genital organs and the eggs.
Cercorchis patonianus inhabits the intestine of Dermophis mexicanus, an apodous Amphibian from the hot regions of Mexico.
