Resumen

Menopon gallinae Linn.- The present work contains a brief description of one of the five species of lice which can be found in the feathers of the hen. They belong to the genus Menopon: M. biseriatum Piag., M. cornutum Schom., M. pallidulum Neum., M. pallescens Nitzch y M. gallinae Linn. The description is based on the preparations made by of Mukerji's transparenting mixture.
