Resumen

The present is the VII contribution to the studies of the Nematodes of the wild and domestic birds of Mexico.
Reference is made to Ascaridia hermaphrodita, Contracaecum microcephalum, Habronema mansoni and Monopetalonealcedinis. A description is given, for the first time, of a new species of Aprocta, with some considerations regarding the genus Aprocta and the genus Lissonema.
The new species -Aprocta nyctidromi- found in Nyctidromus albicollis nelsoni is similar to Aprocta semenovi in the number and distribution of the postanal papillae but differs from it by the number of the spicules and the total size of the Nematode studied.
Since we began the study of the Nematodes of the Vertebrates of Mexico, we have found often that many of them had been previously isolated in Brazilian hosts. This fact leads us to believe in a possible migration of these parasites from South American to North America thus establishing a close relation between the Helminthological fauna of South America and ours.
